F-Wrap Ultimate 1000 evolves with PureGloss
An upgrade dedicated to gloss colours, developed to enhance surface quality, protection and application handling.
Innovation does not always mean introducing a new range. It can also mean listening to the market, refining an already appreciated solution and continuously improving the user experience. This is the thinking behind PureGloss, the upgrade dedicated exclusively to the gloss colours of F-Wrap Ultimate 1000.
PureGloss introduces a 36 µm PET protective layer designed to further enhance the film surface and support installers during key stages of application, without changing the technical performance of the base film.
AN EVEN MORE PAINT-LIKE APPEARANCE
The protective layer helps create a smoother and more uniform cast PVC surface, reducing the orange-peel effect compared with gloss vinyls without a protective layer. The result is a cleaner, more even finish with an appearance that comes even closer to paint.
PureGloss also helps preserve the film’s high gloss level throughout its shelf life, maintaining a premium appearance for up to 2 years.
MORE PROTECTION DURING INSTALLATION
On flat areas of the vehicle, the protective layer can remain on the film during the first stages of wrapping. This helps protect the surface from scratches during handling and installation, preserve the high-gloss finish and reduce adhesive lines during application.
The protective layer must be removed before working on curved or 3D areas. The overall installation process remains unchanged, and no special precautions are required when removing the layer.
MORE STABLE HANDLING, ESPECIALLY ON LARGE SURFACES
The PET protective film temporarily increases material rigidity, making large panels easier to position. This additional stability can be particularly valuable for installers working alone during the initial positioning stages.
The protective layer also provides balanced tack. Feedback from wrappers has also highlighted noticeably less static compared with other protective layers on the market, supporting a cleaner working environment and improved usability during application.
ADDED CARE DURING STORAGE AND HANDLING
PureGloss helps prevent embossing marks near the core caused by winding spirals and the double-sided tape used to secure the product to the core, helping keep the surface better protected even before installation.
AN UPGRADE WITHOUT CHANGING THE PRODUCT’S DNA
PureGloss improves surface protection, appearance and handling, while the technical properties of the base film remain unchanged. Adhesion, conformability and durability are not affected. Colour consistency is also maintained: once the protective layer is removed, the key difference is the enhanced surface brilliance and visual quality.
The previous version of F-Wrap Ultimate 1000 remains fully compliant and high-performing. PureGloss is an evolution developed in response to market feedback, further bringing the gloss finish closer to the look and characteristics of paint.
A SUSTAINABILITY ADVANTAGE TOO
The protective layer is made from recyclable polyester, adding a further benefit to the evolution of the range.
