By adding a 36 µm PET protective layer, PureGloss helps improve the appearance and protection of the film while also providing additional support during handling and installation. The core technical performance of F-Wrap Ultimate 1000 remains unchanged.
A smoother surface with a more paint-like look
For a premium vehicle wrap, surface appearance matters.
The PET protective layer helps create a smoother and more uniform cast PVC surface, reducing the visible orange-peel effect compared with gloss vinyl films without a protective layer.
This results in a cleaner, more refined surface and brings the final appearance even closer to the look of automotive paint.
The protective layer also helps maintain the film’s high-gloss appearance throughout its shelf life, preserving its premium visual quality for up to 2 years.
Added surface protection while you work
PureGloss is designed not only to improve the final look of the wrap, but also to help protect that finish during installation.
When working on flat sections of a vehicle, installers can keep the protective layer in place during the initial application stages. This provides an additional barrier against scratches caused by handling and helps preserve the high-gloss surface while the film is being positioned.
Keeping the protective layer on during these stages can also help reduce the appearance of adhesive lines during application.
Once the installation moves to curved or three-dimensional areas, the protective layer should be removed before conforming the film to the surface.
